The bilingual conference „Law Journals: National, Regional, International” / “Juristische Zeitschriften: national, regional, international” takes place at the Conference Hall of the University Library at Tartu on 30th November and 1st December 2009, under the framework of the 90th Anniversary events of the Estonia’s national university. The distinguished law professors Raul Narits (University of Tartu), Paul Varul (University of Tartu), Marju Luts-Sootak (University of Tartu), Thomas Wilhelmsson (University of Helsinki), Pia Letto-Vanamo (University of Helsinki), Werner Krawietz (University of Münster), Wilfried Schlüter (University of Münster),  Joachim Rückert (University of Frankfurt/Main), Christian von Bar (University of  Osnabrück), Ditlev Tamm (University of Copenhagen), Dag Michalsen (University of Oslo), Kjell-Åke Modeér (University of Lund),  Erik Nerep (Commercial Law School Stockholm), Sanita Osipova and Janis Lazdinš (University of Latvia, Riga), Lars Björne (University of Turku), and Dr. Päivi Paasto (University of Turku), Dr. Anton Rudokvas, Dr. Aleksei Kartsov (University of St. Petersburg),  M.Sc. Merike Ristikivi (University of Tartu), are participating. The conference touches legal and scientific aspects. The opening reception was held today at Tartu City Museum.
